United Way works to make sure children and youth have a foundation to reach their full potential. Help us build out literacy kits for Elementary School Students or put together soup packages for food pantries! All supplies will be provided by United Way. |
Hope By Design
Help sort donations at our warehouse show room, assembling beds, matching bed frames, laying out rugs to vacuum, measure roll up, return back inside write size on rug. Open boxes and place on shelves. |

Full Circle is expanding their program space! Help them by painting the floors and walls! No supplies needed. Wear clothes you can get dirty! Families are welcome to participate in this project. |
Georgia Mountain Food Bank
Volunteers are needed to help deep clean the food pantry for incoming shoppers. Assistance in also needed in preparing assorted food boxes and sorting dry goods at the food bank. Families (with children 10 years and older) are welcome to participate in this project. |
Meals by Grace
Volunteers are needed to deep clean and organize the Meals by Grace pantry for incoming shoppers. These shopping families may have limited or unreliable transportation, experience frequent food insecurity or are working to overcome with a major health or work loss event. |
Lanier Forsyth Rotary Club
The Lanier Forsyth Rotary Club is giving away 500 dogwood trees as a part of the Rotary Grows Green project to plant 2,022 trees in 2022! Interested parties can pick-up a tree at a distribution site, or complete an order form to arrange delivery or pick-up. |
SERVE AT HOME
Forsyth County Family Haven
Help to stock the pantry at Family Haven with children's snacks and pantry items for residents. This organization does not allow onsite volunteers due to confidentiality needs of their residents and clients. |
Supporting Adoptive & Foster Families Together
Volunteers are needed to create family meal kits and craft kits to be delivered to SAFFT. These kits are full of easy-to-source items and provide a project families can complete right from their own home. |
Cumming Home Ministries
Donations are needed of clothing, furniture, books, housewares, furniture. These donations can be easily sourced and delivered to the location - something the entire family can participate in! |
Bald Ridge Lodge
This project can be done off-site/remotely. Volunteers can prep food to bring to the lodge for the boys! Volunteers would supply a meal recipe to feed approximately 14 (12 teen boys and 2 adult staff) and the pantry ingredients for the meal. BRL would add meat and/or fresh vegetables when the meal is prepared. Volunteers could supply grocery/Walmart gift cards to help with the cost of meat/vegetables if desired. |
